At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs , the NA deputy Artak Manukyan’s question to the RA Deputy Minister on Economics Avag Avanesyan referred to the dynamics of the investments of the first quarter for 2021. Artak Manukyan noted that due to the pandemic the volume of investments decreased in the whole world. The deputy also stated that the legislative initiatives are carried out for boosting investments.

Avag Avanesyan noted that the volumes of construction in the first quarter, especially the volumes of the industrial construction increased. “It can have no connection with the foreign direct investments at all, but 35% of that volume is made in the energy system which  has a big weight in terms of including foreign direct investments.”
